So I didn't succeed in making a cool thing
But I did learn a lot!
The steel shot I bought to weigh these things down works a TREAT! I think I'll try making some out of felt and fur, the fur will be more forgiving when I glue round the face. (This one with the cotton was such a hideous failure I hastily covered it all up with some ribbon.)
I'm not deterred! These will be great.

They will be great...can see many uses for them and dumpy ones and families of them.
